This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking our community to help Corazón Folklórico DC meet one of our biggest needs of the year:
New folklórico costumes for our rapidly growing group of dancers.
This year, 25 new dancers joined our company which is an incredible milestone in our mission of keeping dance accessible to all.
One of the core ways we achieve this is by purchasing shared folklórico wardrobe pieces that multiple dancers can use for many performances.
Just last year, a single dress was used in 11 different events—one-third of all our performances.
