Ballet Folklórico Festival will be a series of classes taught by folklórico local educators from the DC metropolitan area. Varying forms of dances will be taught to participating dancers in an all-day event. At the end of the event, there will be a network fandango events for participants, instructors, and guests.

Corazon Folklorico is thrilled to host the workshop at the Dance Institute of Washington and The Kennedy Center.
Culture Caucus member Corazón Folklórico invites you to an afternoon of dance workshops with special guest instructor, Maestro Cesar Orta from Chihuahua, Mexico. This introduction class to Mexican folkloric dances will provide a breakdown of footwork and partner dancing to norteño style music for all ages to enjoy.
